12 students, 10 years old to adults. Fee: $110

During this workshop, you will learn about the process of clay and the different techniques to make a tile piece, from rolling out a slab to carving and adding on to it.

Please plan to bring an old shirt or apron, and a drawing or idea of what you would like to create!

Feel free to bring a snack. Coffee is provided.
All other materials provided.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR
Laurie Chapman
Laurie has a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Pottery and Painting. She has taught art to both adults and young people for more than 30 years.

Laurie lives in Cape Neddick, Maine where she has both pottery and painting studios in her home.

She is an active member of the York Art Association, currently serving as Education Chair for the Board of Directors.
